Membership Options & Requirements

There are four membership options to choose from:

Under 40 Membership

Corporate Membership

Senior Exempt Membership

General Rules for Membership Application

 1. Where to submit

Prospective member & their sponsor will complete & submit the application forms to the Club President or Secretary. 

 2. Membership Fee

All members, except for "Under 40", will have to pay $100 New Member Fee.

 3. Meals/Meetings

All members will be charged $11 per week for the meals/meetings, regardless of attendance.

 4. International Dues 

All members are charged $55 per quarter for the Rotary International Dues.

 5. Tax Deductible 

All members will be asked to consider a quarterly/annual tax-deductible donation to the Rotary International  Foundation.

 6. Billing Schedule  

Billing is quarterly and due upon receipt. Payment can be made by personal check/business account.

 7. Attendance Rate  

Members are expected to attend 60% of the meetings held per year.

Exceptions & Additional Information

Corporate Membership

 1. Submission

An owner, executive, officer, director or manager from a prospective corporate member, along with their sponsor, complete & submit application forms to the Club President or Secretary. 

 2. Membership

A $100 fee will be charged for the processing of all new corporate members.

Corporate member may designate up to 4 additional employees to be named as members.  All persons must be recorded with Rotary International as members. 

Should any corporate member need to change their membership roster, this can be done at no cost by submitting new member designee paperwork. 

 3. Meals/Meetings

The Corporate membership itself is billed $11 per week for the meal/meeting charge of one of its members (regardless of attendance).  

If and when more than one member attends then an additional $11 will be charged per person.

4. Attendance Rate 

Corporate memberships are expected to send at least  one designee to each meeting. 

Collectively they need to attend 60% of meetings per year collectively.

5. Balances & Billing

Billing is quarterly & can be billed to either the corporation or the individual members.  

Corporate members are responsible for any unpaid balances of their members.  All membership classifications may prepay quarterly or annually if preferable. 

 

Senior Exempt Membership

  1. Member must be at least 65 years of age.

  2. Years of membership in Sheboygan Rotary Club plus age must equal at least 85.
